How to reach us

We are in Torre Colimena, a tiny hamlet in Puglia, south if Italy. 45 minutes drive from Brindisi airport.

You can reach Brindisi Airport from many European destination directly or flying through Milan or Rome. We organise taxi transfers from and to the airport.

Accommodation

In shared apartments.
All the apartments are located in the same building in via delle Ostriche 14, Torre Colimena, Manduria.
Each apartment has a kitchen, bathroom with shower and a Tv set.
The building top has a great terrace available to all the guests.
A washing machine is shared between all the guests.
The apartments are 5-minute walk from the beach.

The language course in the classroom and by the beach

The Course is 24 hours in total.

4 hours every morning, from 9 am to 13 pm, with 10 minutes breaks between each hour.

The lessons are designed to improve your Italian and introduce you to Italian culture.

Each day you'll be learning grammar, syntax, the use of the language in everyday situation and elements of Italian history and contemporary culture.

The school provides all learning materials.

To maximize the learning experience, so you will learn even on the beach, we'll provide each student with:

- An Ipod to listen to Italian audio books, lectures and music in your free-time.

- Books and newspaper articles to be read at your leisure.

The Classes will be held in the patio of a nearby bar. Don't worry it's very quiet! we have our own area.

The teachers are highly qualified native speakers.

Eating and shopping

Torre Colimena has 4 restaurants a tiny market that sells all the necessities and twice a week a Fruit&Vegetable street vendor goes around the village selling locally produce goods.

The city of Avetrana is only 4 Kilometers away, however there are very few public transports. If you'd need anything from the shops in Avetrana, we'll happy to give you a ride to town.

The local restaurants serve all sorts of fantastic traditional Italian food.
Fish and shellfish directly fished in the sea in front of the village.
Meat and Vegetables from local producers.
Local Wine.

The cost for an average dinner costs around €20 p.p., wine included.

Torre Colimena

Torre Colimena is a tiny hamlet, in the municipality of Avetrana, located between two natural reserves.
It has a beautiful beach only 5 minutes walk away and a few more that you can reach with a 15 minutes walk. The natural reserves, which have been recently created, add to the beauty of the seaside.
In the winter it counts about 30 inhabitants.
It is a magic place.
